These Chinese lanterns were made by my ex-classmate cum good old friend, Jesmine. We knew each other since we were primary one. She is a very artistic and creative person. She is also very good in Art. She usually makes a lot of lanterns to decorate her house during the Chinese New Year. She uses redpacket (Chinese New Year Angpow packet) to make and create many different types of lantern. Lanterns were hung outside her balcony and also inside her house. throughout the year. She used to make gold fishes and stick them against her wall as decoration too. Last Chinese New Year, she taught me how to make a lantern (1st lantern shown below). She also gave me the a lantern (2nd lantern shown below) to decorate my house. That's very kind and thoughtful of her.
