White T-Shirt-30.12.2011

Hello There!

Recently I had painted a white T-Shirt and I would like to share my painting with you.  I have sold off this T-Shirt today.  I wish I could keep it for myself but it is a bit small for me.

I didn't know how it will turn out at first.  As I was painting, my idea just popped out and I was so excited to see the outcome. I am glad it turned out quite nice.

Here I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a "Happy New Year" and hope everything is going smoothly for you.

Regards
Jeck

Clay Roses-10.12.2011

Good evening!

There are varieties of clay in the market. Mostly are bright and splendid in colours.  The clay I used for these roses is a soft and non-toxic clay.  The clay is soft and light-weight even after drying, crack-free and has super elasticity. Ideal for fancy ornaments, accessories toys and more creative activities. Don't have  to bake the clay in an oven to make it dry. It's air-dry. Easy to use isn't it?

You may create anything out of it. I have made some roses and can be used as ornaments for key chains, ear-rings, brooches, hair-clips, photo frame deco, etc.

The unused clay or the left-over should be kept in an air-tight container.

Goodnite!

My Kokeshi Doll-6.11.2011

Good Afternoon

This is my crocheted Kokeshi Doll.  I had only crocheted two of these Kokeshi Dolls.  One was given to my friend. as a gift.   I have forgotten to take a picture of it beforehand.  I will try to take a photo of it and post it later.

It is not difficult to crochet Kokeshi Doll but the most tedious part is to crochet the hair.  For me, I found it  very difficult to see because the thread is black in colour. My eyes sight is not that fantastic nowadays....hahaha...

Anyway, I hope I will continue to crochet more so that I can share them with you.

Have a nice day!

Angry Birds-26.10.2011

Hello Everybody!

Angry Birds has been a very addictive and popular games. You may find Angry Birds' Toys in any deparmental stores or toy shops.

There are several different types of birds used in the game and also the don't forget the a group of evil green pigs. The piges themselves also appear in different sizes.
I have been crocheting angry birds and green pigs.  The width of these soft toys is about 7cm and height is about 7cm. There are also smaller sizes such as width and height about 5cm (smallest size).
The basic red birds are very attractive and they must look fierce. The pigs are cute too.

Hope you like them. Bye!

Name Plaques-21.8.2011

Good evening!

I was delighted to receive 2 more orders for name plaque from friend, Fee Yoong .  I am glad that the two name plaques turned out to be very colourful and attractive. I am also glad that she likes them very much.

I like to paint clay letterings because I like to match colours and create different effect by painting the same letter with different colours.  I have to think of what colours to match and where the letters should be placed so that I don't repeat the same colour next to each other. I have to have a mixture of colours in order to make the plaques look colourful and nice.  I also need to make sure that the colours are evenly spread.  In other words, colours combination is very important.  You may see some samples below.

Tiple 'A'

Tiple 'Y'

Double 'O'

Double 'H'

Double 'P'

Triple 'S'

Not only I like to match the colours, I also like to match the letters.  It's fun to form words by using those beautiful letters. I feel so young again....hahaha......You may also see some samples below too.

Letter: VIP

Letter: RAN

Letter: TIE

Letter: EAR

For varnishing I noticed that Aerosol spray is easier to use and can get a better result than the liquid varnish. Liquid varnish is a bit messy compared to Aerosol spray.

Finally, here are the 2 beautiful name plaques.  I hope the owners like their name plaques. Well, my mum like them a lot.  She is so impressed with the colourful and bright letters. She said she also wanted to make one for herself and hang it in her room.  I couldn't help laughing at her remark.

Good night everybody!
