Wooden Key Holder Box-7.1.2012

Good evening!

My friend, Doris gave me another challenging project.  She asked me to paint a key holder box with a "TIGER" on it for her sister, Stella.  I told her I don't know how to paint a "TIGER" and I haven't come across with painting animals. She said, "since you can paint flowers beautifully, I am sure you can paint a tiger.  Just surf the net for a tiger and copy it only." Then, she also asked me to paint her a stone with a pig on it.  She wanted to give it to her brother-in-law as a paper-weight, a special gift for her brother-in-law.   Wah!, easy to say then done.  Anyway, I told her I will try my best to get her what she wants, a "TIGER" and a "PIG".  A "TIGER" and a "PIG". Well, what an interesting and challenging project?

When I reached home, I couldn't stop thinking about how to paint those two animals and how to go about it.  Suddenly, I thought of a cartoon tiger.  It's much easier to paint a  cartoon tiger.  So I called Doris just to confirm whether she wants a cartoon tiger like those in Disneyland. But, so happened I was told that she was having her afternoon nap.  So, I decided not to wait for her and just make my own decision because I wanted to get thing done as soon as possible.  In the end, I decided not to paint cartoon tiger because I am afraid it's a bit childish for her sister.  This is what I have done finally.

Doris, here is a "TIGER" and a "PIG" as promised.

I would like to take this opportunity to thanks my dear friend, Doris for making my painting so interesting and challenging and also all the supports given to me.  I hope she will request more from me.  It will helps me to expand my creativity.

Goodnight!

Name Plaque for Stella-2.1.2012

Good morning and Happy New Year to Everyone!

Let us welcome year 2012 with great joy. Hope year 2012 will brings us good health and good luck.

My friend, Doris asked me to make a name plaque for her sister, Stella who has just came back from England for holiday  Doris specifically indicated to me that she wanted a very nice name plaque for her sister.  She said she wanted the name to be fixed  on something very nice.  But what is very nice?  She said she will leave it for me to think.  Well, at first I was a bit worry about where to fix the clay lettering. Where to find a very nice  something very nice? Very nice frame or board?  Finally, I thought of a board which I bought earlier.  I think it is very suitable and I believed it will turned out very nice. I am glad it is.

Let's have a look at my project.

Well, Doris likes it very much.  Hopefully, Stella likes it too.

Thank you Doris for the support.

Have a nice day!  Bye!

White T-Shirt-30.12.2011

Hello There!

Recently I had painted a white T-Shirt and I would like to share my painting with you.  I have sold off this T-Shirt today.  I wish I could keep it for myself but it is a bit small for me.

I didn't know how it will turn out at first.  As I was painting, my idea just popped out and I was so excited to see the outcome. I am glad it turned out quite nice.

Here I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a "Happy New Year" and hope everything is going smoothly for you.

Regards
Jeck

Clay Roses-10.12.2011

Good evening!

There are varieties of clay in the market. Mostly are bright and splendid in colours.  The clay I used for these roses is a soft and non-toxic clay.  The clay is soft and light-weight even after drying, crack-free and has super elasticity. Ideal for fancy ornaments, accessories toys and more creative activities. Don't have  to bake the clay in an oven to make it dry. It's air-dry. Easy to use isn't it?

You may create anything out of it. I have made some roses and can be used as ornaments for key chains, ear-rings, brooches, hair-clips, photo frame deco, etc.

The unused clay or the left-over should be kept in an air-tight container.

Goodnite!

My Kokeshi Doll-6.11.2011

Good Afternoon

This is my crocheted Kokeshi Doll.  I had only crocheted two of these Kokeshi Dolls.  One was given to my friend. as a gift.   I have forgotten to take a picture of it beforehand.  I will try to take a photo of it and post it later.

It is not difficult to crochet Kokeshi Doll but the most tedious part is to crochet the hair.  For me, I found it  very difficult to see because the thread is black in colour. My eyes sight is not that fantastic nowadays....hahaha...

Anyway, I hope I will continue to crochet more so that I can share them with you.

Have a nice day!

Angry Birds-26.10.2011

Hello Everybody!

Angry Birds has been a very addictive and popular games. You may find Angry Birds' Toys in any deparmental stores or toy shops.

There are several different types of birds used in the game and also the don't forget the a group of evil green pigs. The piges themselves also appear in different sizes.
I have been crocheting angry birds and green pigs.  The width of these soft toys is about 7cm and height is about 7cm. There are also smaller sizes such as width and height about 5cm (smallest size).
The basic red birds are very attractive and they must look fierce. The pigs are cute too.

Hope you like them. Bye!
