Roses on Wooden Clogs-4.6.2014

Hi !

I remember I used to wear Wooden Clogs inside my bathroom and outside my house compound  when I was young. We used to have many pairs of Wooden Clogs in the house. I also remember I used to tap and create the sound of the Clogs against the floor. I like wearing Clogs but now we can hardly find good quality Clog around. 

My friend managed to buy Wooden Clogs for her daughter.  She asked me to paint something on the Wooden Clogs.  So I painted some roses for her daughter. My friend and her daughter likes it very much.

I used to wear Plain Clogs instead of Flower Clogs.  If I happened to buy Wooden Clogs for myself now, I would definitely paint some flowers on it.

Roses on Plastic Containers-1.6.2014

Hello & Hello Again!

This Plastic Container is white in colour.  White colour can easy match my roses. It makes thing simple for me. You may use this container to keep your stuff such as cosmetics, cloth pegs, biscuits with wrappers, sweet, accessories etc.

The last  picture is a soap container.

Decoupage Key Holder-1.6.2014

Hello Again,

Next, here comes my Key Holder.  This flower wasn't painted by me but it was decoupaged by me.  As usual I did the base coat and then I cut out the flower from a serviette and glued it on the Key Holder. Then I varnished it.  

It looks good right?  Interesting and simple to do right? Well, you may try it out.

This is something I seldom do. It is painting Trees.  I used Acrylics to paint this picture.  I painted those Trees on a board and had it framed up

Roses on Wooden Tissue Box and Wooden Photo Frame-1.6.2014

Time flies.  I discovered that I have not posted my paintings for several months already. There are lots of things I would like to share with you guys.

Painting Roses on White Table-18.2.2014

Hello Again,

This is my first time painting such a big and white surface.  I am afraid that I might not get it right or I might have spoil it.  This is also my first time painting such a big rose with One-Stroke method. Luckily everything turned out fine.  No mess or stain.  In fact, it is easier and faster to finish painting on a this surface because of One-Stroke method and no base coat required.

Paintings on Old Table-18.2.2014

Welcome to Year 2014 Everyone!

When my friend asked me whether I wanted an old table with snakes and ladders games on the surface, the 1st thing that came into my mind is that I wanted to turn the yellowish table into a bright and fresh table.  I wanted to try painting something on the table but I had no idea what to  paint on it at that moment. I kept it for some times and just before the Chinese New Year, I thought I better had it painted.  

I had no idea what to paint and how to get it started.  Initially I started to  paint all the edges of the table. But when I found that it's difficult to blend the colour evenly, I started the dapping method. Eventually I developed some ideas while I was dapping the table.  I just wanted to get my idea right. Somehow, I just follow the flow of my ideas.  

I wanted to do something to the table so that I can see some changes and I wanted to make to table looks nice. Finally this is what I had done to the table.

 No matter what, I think this is better than before.

Key holder for Christmas-29.09.2013

Good Evening Everyone!

I am very anxious to share with you my duly painted key holder. I have just done it today and I can't wait to share it with you.  I have painted a very colourful house with beautiful bricks wall.  The picture tells you it winter and Christmas is around the corner.  I am quite satisfied with this project. I have not fix on the nails on the key holder yet. 

Although Christmas is not around the corner yet but as soon as I have finished painting the key holder, somehow I feel like it's Christmas season.  I am happy that paintings can create a feeling that we wish to feel at that moment.  Or you may say, we can apply our feelings on our paintings. Both ways are just wonderful!

Stone Minions-05.09.2013

Hi Again!

Art is endless.  It will never just stop there.  There are lots of new things to explore in Art.  Every now and then we will discover something new and develop new experience. We can make our Art more interesting by following the trend.  We should find out more new things to explore and try out different things in order to improve on our Art.

When it comes to Art, I will try to accept all request or order.  I should not be afraid to try out some new Arts or Paintings.  By doing so, I can improve myself.  Art can be very challenging and interesting besides passing times.

I was asked to paint something on a stone by my superior's wife for a kid. Minions are very popular now, so I decided to paint minions for the kid. This is what I mean by following the trend.

Panda and Fox T-Shirt - 01.09.2013

My friend, Terri said she has two nieces, one of them likes pandas and the other likes foxes. She asked me to get them a T-Shirt each and paint the said animals for them respectively. It was a challenge for me again as it was my first attempt painting these animals and I have not idea how it will turned out.  Nevertheless, I came out with something for them.  Something cute.  Not the actual pandas or foxes that we see in real life but they are in a cuter version.  Thank you Terri for your request.  You have given me a chance to explore into something different too.

Although the Panda is a bit slim and the fox is a bit plump but both are cute...hahaha....

These two animals are specially painted for Terri's nieces upon Terri's request.  I hope they like it.

T-Shirts with Butterfly Design -3.8.2013

Good Evening!

I have newly painted 3 T-Shirts with Butterfly Design.  After the 1st attempt, I think I love painting butterflies and flowers. Butterflies with some flowers around it makes the T-Shirt looks attractive and colourful. Butterflies and flowers are both very colourful. I can play around with the colours.  I might paint more of this design later.

I will post more of my paintings later.

Key Holder cum Letter Holder-24.03.2013

Good Evening!

My schoolmate, Audrey requested me to design a Key Holder where she can put her letters on top and can hang at least 6 sets of her keys at the bottom. She also stated she wants the wordings " God Bless" on it. I wasn't sure that I can get her what she had requested but I told her okay and I will go hunting for it.

I asked her to give me some time.  She waited patiently. Finally, I managed to find her a Key Holder cum Letter Holder about 7"W x 18"H.  Happily I started to paint some roses for her.  The design might look simple but a lot of my times and efforts were put on it.  I wanted to make sure that the design is nice because I finally managed to find something Audrey had in mind. I don't want to disappoint her.  This is some something she is looking forward to.  

I wish to thank you  her for being very patience and supportive. Thank you, Audrey!

The most important thing is that she loves the Key Holder cum Letter Holder very much.

Roses on all types of Bottle-16.03.2013

Good evening,

I have painted a few bottles lately.   Roses on liquor bottles and other types of bottle can be very beautiful. I felt I have improved a lot on the stroke work.  My roses look nicer then the previous one. The roses are more natural.  Practice makes perfect.

One colour alone can also can be beautiful. Take a look at the gold and white roses.  They are just as nice as the pink roses depending on the colours of the bottle.

Cherry Blossom T-Shirt-03.02.2013

Good Evening

Today I am in the mood to post my Art Works.  Here is a Cherry Blossom T-Shirt ordered by Audrey. I have just completed painting it yesterday and i will send it to her tomorrow. Choosing a Cherry Blossom T-Shirt for the coming Chinese New Year is a very good choice.

I have emailed and shown it to her earlier. I am glad she loves it.

Fulfillment (The Embrace)-30.12.2012

Good Afternoon,

I have some interesting Arts to share with you.  These are my oil paintings.  The original artist of these paintings was Gustav Klimt.  He was born in Baumgarten, near Vienna in Austria-Hungary in 14 July 1862 and died on 6 February 1918.  He was a famous painter and illustrator.  He was the founder of the school of painting known as the Vienna Sezession, embodies the high-keyed erotic, psychological and aesthetic preoccupations of turn-of -the-century Vienna's dazzling intellectual world.

Gustav Klimt painted a number of works in a similar gilded style. His artwork namely The Kiss, oil and gold leaf on canvas;  Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I, oil, silver and gold on canvas; The Tree of Life;  Lady with Fan; Fulfillment (The Embrace); The Sunflower etc.

I had painted 2 pieces of Fulfillment (The Embrace).  One piece was painted on a board and the other on a canvas.

Paper Mache Elephant-10.12.2012.

A Very Good Evening to Everyone!

 

In school we used to make paper plate out of newspapers.  I still remember we made our own starch and soaked pieces of newpaper into the water and moulded them on a plate, layers by layers using the starch to form a plate.  This method is call Paper Mache Craft.

 

Paper Mache is one of the most inexpensive craft and it is a bit messy but if you have ideas and creativities you can make a lot of things out of it. For example you can make bear, butterfly, mushroom, jaw, flower etc.  I have made an Elephant using Paper Mache technique.

Cooking Utensils with Landscape-08.11.2012

Good Evening!

Landscaping on utensils!  Have you heard of it?  Well, do take a look at my pictures and you will understand what I mean.  Oh, I love this landscaping job. No energy needed. No sweat! Not expensive and can finished within a day.....lol...  It's my passion to try out painting on something new.  I am quite satisfied with my  landscape.  I like the pond, skies, tree and flowers.  The combinations are perfect. 

These wooden utensils are solely for decoration only and not for cooking. It will definitely brighten up your kitchen. Hope it will give you some inspirations to cook better too.  Have a beautiful environment while cooking.
